EVERNESTED is the interior design studio of Rachael Knight Gullette, based in Union, Kentucky, serving the Cincinnati tri-state in person and clients everywhere by remote e-design.

OUR SEAMLESS PROCESS
Discovery Call
Step 1: Start with a consultation. Every project begins with a conversation. This is a 15 minute complimentary phone call where we can discuss your needs and expectations and answer any questions you might have about my process. Ideally we would talk about booking your consultation and schedule appropriately.
Consultation
Step 2: We begin with a thorough $250 consultation up to 2 hours long to understand your requirements, ensuring we align our services with your vision and goals. If you are in my area I come to you. If we are working together remotely we can voice call and work through image utilizing texting or video call through zoom or FaceTime. This is where we talk about your space, look at design inspiration you have, try to figure out your style or at least collect images of things you love to help me curate your true aesthetic preferences.
Proposal + Contract
Step 3 : One flat fee, quoted upfront. Set by how much of the process you want me to carry — and it doesn't change if the work runs long. That's on me. No hourly meters. No surprise invoices. The meter makes clients afraid to ask questions — and questions are where good rooms come from. No minimum project size. A $5,000 bedroom and a $100,000 bedroom both get a real designer. You get a proposal that spells out exactly what to expect. Once agreed you get a contract we both sign and work starts on your project!
Mood Board Approval
Step 4: Working from your inspiration and our conversations I create a Mood Board for you to approve. This is a casually created collage of images and colors to helps us both understand if I am on the right track to discovering your style and aesthetic. This will be used to move forward in the design of your space- so it truly feels collected and curated for your unique point of view.
Design Phase
Step 5: Using all of our approved design inspiration I build your floorplan (you provide to me if remote or I measure in person if needed) in my 3D rendering program. This allows me to fully visualize your space and test different color stories and furnishings to provide you with the perfect combination of both to create your curated and unique design. The timeline of this phase will vary based on the needs of the project and will be estimated in the contract so you know what to expect. It is possible in this phase for me to text you with update or questions to help me move forward expeditiously. In this time I will create a list of furnishings and accessories used in the design and present them in a collage format Roomboard.
Presentation
Step 6: I will present to you through email, text messages, PDF files, video files, and/or dropbox links all of the prepared materials to showcase the design I have created for your spaces. We may have an in person meeting, a video conference, a phone call, or text conversation depending on the need of both Client + Designer to go over each and every element of the design and talk about your thoughts, feelings, desires, and needs for the presented design to move forward.
Edits + Amendments
Step 7: You will have the opportunity to ask for changes to the design at this point. We will agree ahead of time on a certain number of amendments allowed and a certain amount of time these edits may be requested within. You will also have an expeditious deadline for them so you will know when to expect your revised design.
Final design Approval
Step 8: Once you have given your approval of the finalized design you will receive a list of links to purchase your desired items. At this point you can decide to hire me to handle purchasing and procurement for you, if you wish. We can also move forward into an installation contract if that is your desire. They are negotiated separately, because every project is different in the needs and wants of the client in terms of the level of designer involvement in the implementation of the design. I can do as much or as little as you want including providing construction documents and communication with your contractors and vendors.

Rendering Services
See your space before you build it. Photorealistic 3D visualization from your floor plans and design selections. 3D walk through tours also available compatible with some VR glasses. Also available for Builders, Contractors, and fellow designers. Inquire for details.

When looking at the future of our living space we decided to add a first floor master suite. Envisioning this space and the decor was a very tedious task.
